Inside the mind of a master procrastinator
By: Tim Urban (source)

Date:

Take Aways
What is in the mind of a non proscratinstor and a procastinotor difference:

Non Procastinator
*Rational Decision Maker
*Like to get things done
*Make long term plans
*Do whatever that make sense

Procrastinator
*Thinks of what is fun and easy
*Instant gratification

The dark playgroun - is a place where the Procastinator do the less
of the activities that should not be happening.

The hard things - this is a place for the non procrastinator
The panic monster - wakes up when deadlines are coming....

2 kinds of Procastination
1. With deadline - effects could be contained
2. Without deadline - effects could not be contaoned and might be a cause of a long term feeling of sadness and regrets.

Prayer Item
Pray that their would be no spirit of lazyness and timidness in every area of our lives.
Make things organized and on plan.

Sermon Theme
*TIME MATTERS
*The effects of procrastinating

From exegesis to theology

Take aways:
Exegesis Vs. Theology

Exegesis is the interpretation of scripture.
Ex from the word exit, going out.
Reading out of the bible of what God put in the bible.

Theology-study of God
-putting all your conclusion
-who is God
-what are His characteristics
-what are the things that pleases and displeases Him
-what are the ways that He looks at the human beings
-what is the meaning of redemption

As a believer of Christ, we must read and dig deeper in the word of God.
Read as if you don't know anything about it. Just like its your first time.
Just read it for what its worth. Read the bible us honestly as we can. As we read and dig in, pray that God would help us to receive what is written to help us overcome our biases and blindspot so we can take in what God's word says. Not just to receive but also to act on what it is written. Reading the bible as intended to be read, understanding and interpreting it as intended to be understood and interpreted.

Your theology is the conclusion of everything you have studied, read and understood about the scripture. Theology must come after your interpretationof the scripture.

●Pray for more passion in reading the word of God and digging deeper about the scripture
●Pray that God must come first in everything that we do, act and say.

Symbols of the Holy Spirit In The Bible - Rick Renner

TAKE AWAYS:
The Holy Spirit is evident in our lives through different symbols.
One symbol is the oil. The oil represents anointing wherein when we put oil in our hands and place our hands to something or someone, that thing or person changes or transforms and consecrated or set apart to be used only for GOD and not for the world.

What 2 prayer items will you pray with your LG people

1.)  Pray that the Holy Spirit will be evident in our lives.
2.)  Pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to work with us, in us and through us.

Write 2 sermon themes from video above

1.)  Manifestation of the Holy Spirit
2.)  Works of the Holy Spirit

From Exegesis to Theology Take Aways
There must be a solid interpretation of scriptures (Exegesis) before having a conclusion to the study, theology, and systematic theology.
Philology, the translation of text from their original language. Principle of translating to consider is that it should make sense.
There are beliefs that we divide. All must come from the careful study of the word. From exegesis, interpretation of scriptures, languages, context of the book, the chapter, the of the author. All of these are the building blocks of theology.

2 Prayer Items with LG people
God’s wisdom for us to be able to understand deeply of God’s word.
Empowerment of the Holy Spirit for us to manifest Jesus to other people.

2 Sermon Themes
The Word and beyond.
Common sense: Understanding God’s Word.

By Jonh Maxwell Take Care of Little Things
In leadership, Know your talents, skills and gifts. In leadership, You've got to start small and work up to it. A person who has never led before needs to try to influence one other person. Start doing what is necessary; then do what is possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible. The small responsibilities you have before you now comprise tha first great leadership conquest you must make. Dont try to conquer the world until you've taken care of things in your own backyad.
